My stomach is growling and my head is hurting. It's the first day of finals week and there's nothing more depressing than walking into the library in the morning when the sun is shining and exiting the library when it's dark outside and you realize: you've spent your whole day in there.
Where did the time go? Well I at least finished one test today, and have been trying to finish a paper. But the longer I stay in this place the more uncomfortable my back gets, the louder my stomach growls, and the more distracted I get. Hence why I find myself finally updating my blog. I'm just waiting for my fiance to finish what he's doing so we can walk home together and get some grub.
Fiance is such a foreign and weird word to me, but I'm trying to add it to my vocabulary. It's been how long? Almost two weeks now that Aaron and I have been engaged. It still boggles my mind that this is happening and soon enough I'll be married.
Although it's been something we've been talking about for so long, now that I have a ring on my finger I feel as if it's a million times closer to the "it's actually happening" phase.
Which again is weird.
And yet at the same time, it's natural. Maybe that's the why it's so weird, because of my combination of how unbelievable it is and how natural it is at the same time.

i just thought i should tell you that the correct word is 'fiance'. not 'finance.' unless you meant for it to be like that. (and just so you know. fiance is a guy, fiancee is a girl. cool huh? haha)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're the only one that reads my blog. Because I totally do that all the time. I DO know how to spell fiance, I just get carried away and always seem to type finance.
