My stomach is growling and my head is hurting. It's the first day of finals week and there's nothing more depressing than walking into the library in the morning when the sun is shining and exiting the library when it's dark outside and you realize: you've spent your whole day in there.
Where did the time go? Well I at least finished one test today, and have been trying to finish a paper. But the longer I stay in this place the more uncomfortable my back gets, the louder my stomach growls, and the more distracted I get. Hence why I find myself finally updating my blog. I'm just waiting for my fiance to finish what he's doing so we can walk home together and get some grub.
Fiance is such a foreign and weird word to me, but I'm trying to add it to my vocabulary. It's been how long? Almost two weeks now that Aaron and I have been engaged. It still boggles my mind that this is happening and soon enough I'll be married.
Although it's been something we've been talking about for so long, now that I have a ring on my finger I feel as if it's a million times closer to the "it's actually happening" phase.
Which again is weird.
And yet at the same time, it's natural. Maybe that's the why it's so weird, because of my combination of how unbelievable it is and how natural it is at the same time.

Semester's End
Since I haven't updated my blog in a while, I figure now is the time to do it. Mostly because I'm avoiding writing a paper I have due tomorrow, but lets face it: I work better under pressure. Anyway school is going great and I only say that because it's almost over. I can not wait for the semester to end and a new one to come because...
I was accepted into the ADVERTISING PROGRAM!
I know that may be old news, but I haven't blogged about it yet, so I figure the mention was needed.
So what that means is that next semester I will finally be able to take classes for my major [aka classes that actually interest me.]
However, not all my classes this semester are that bad. I have beginning basketball. A very fun class because all we do is scrimmage. And then I have my Joseph Smith History class which is absolutely AMAZING. I can't believe some of the stuff we are learning... okay well I can believe it, but the depth my teacher knows about the subject is just unreal. It's like a story telling class, where you just sit in lecture and hear stories about the prophet's life. It's great.
Well, now that there is snow outside that means wet feet and dry hands. I have never understood the full purpose of lotion until I came to Utah, so now I use it because I need it, rather than just for a good smell. A sister missionary gave me a good tip for cold feet though. She said you take a little bit of chili powder and mix it in with lotion and then put that on your feet and they will worm right up. I haven't tried it, but am crossing my fingers that it will work. I always have cold feet. She did give a warning though, if you put in too much powder then it could start to burn your feet.
Anyway that's enough of my stalling, it's probably time to start that paper of mine!
